Students in 8th Grade were working as mechanical engineers in their science class this week!! Students applied physics concepts to design a supply pod to be dropped in the event of a natural disaster (also known as the Egg Drop). 🤩
Students investigated the following questions during their experiment:
1. How can I increase the time over which the collision occurs?
2. How can I decrease the velocity of the object when it collides with the ground?
3. How can I decrease the mass of the object?
