The 4th, 5th and 6th graders have been preparing for a program to be presented at the school auditorium on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 6:30 PM. I ask that the children start arriving at 6:15 in the music room (by the gym) to warm up. When the program is finished, students will return to the music room to be picked up. Because your child will receive a grade for participation in the program, if your child is absent the day of the program, we cannot allow them to participate that evening, due to school policy. If your child does not attend the concert, there will be an assignment to do to make up for the concert grade. The program should last only a half hour.
I look forward to your child participating and meeting parents so they can demonstrate their musical abilities to you. I am collecting pictures of veterans to include in a slideshow, as well as, friends or family members who have passed that you would like to remember for Dia de Los Muertes (Day of the Dead).
